Buddy S35 Recorder Microphone

The Buddy S35 noise-cancelling microphone, using the Emkay NR Series element, is designed for recorders, such as the Olympus DS 3000 or DS 330, with a 3.5 mm microphone socket.
The built-in microphones of digital recorders are not noise-cancelling and will pick up ambient sounds as well as those generated by touching the case or pressing a button. The Buddy S35 will eliminate these noises.
The microphone should be used approximately 5 cm (2") from the corner of the mouth, in the same position that you would use a headset microphone.
If you use the Emkay 3185 headset (or TalkMic) for normal dictation in NaturallySpeaking® there is no need to to train a separate user for the recorder as the Buddy S35 employs the same microphone element.
