Olympus ME-12 Microphone

The microphone is specially designed for Olympus recorders, such as the Olympus DS 4000, DS 2300 or DS 3300, with a 3.5 mm microphone socket.
The built-in microphones of digital recorders are not noise-cancelling and will pick up ambient sounds as well as those generated by touching the case or pressing a button. The ME-12 will eliminate these noises and will improve accuracy in high-noise environments.
The unidirectional microphone should be used approximately 5 cm (2") from the corner of the mouth, in the same position that you would use a headset microphone. The ME-12 plugs directly into the digital recorder's 3.5 mm microphone input jack.
