Olympus DS 4000 Digital Voice Recorder
The DS 4000 is designed to withstand heavy professional use and is simply the best Digital Voice Recorder currently available.
Files are saved in the high-quality, high-compression DSS format on xD-Picture Cards™, allowing 5 hours of speech quality recording on the supplied 32 MB card.
The true Digital Slide Switch (new to Olympus) provides smooth control of playback and recording resulting in high performance, comfort, and increased productivity.
The DS4000 includes a USB docking station for recharging the Ni-MH battery pack and downloading data to a PC. When connected to a computer, the D4000 can be utilized as a USB microphone and speaker.
The improved DSS Player Pro Dictation software enables fast and efficient file management, editing, transcription and archiving of the seven recorder folders (199 files per folder).
