Processor Requirements: Minimum Requirement Pentium® 4 1 GHz (or equivalent AMD Processor)
Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 will not install on a PC with a processor of less than 1 GHz.
A faster processor will give better performance.*

Operating System Requirements: Windows® 2000 (SP4 or higher), XP ( SP-1 or greater), Windows Vista.

Memory Requirements: Absolute Minimum - 512 MB. Recommended* 1 GB or even 2 GB - particularly with Windows® XP (and to be ready for Windows Vista).

Hard Drive Requirements: 1 GB free hard-disk space for a full installation + 50 MB / additional user; CD-ROM drive for installation.

Audio Requirements: Windows-compatible sound card supporting 16 bit recording, Creative Labs® Sound Blaster® Live or Audigi® recommended. Alternatively an USB Sound System.
