Training>Speech Recognition Software
Overview
With adequate hardware, training and a little perseverance Dragon NaturallySpeaking® can reach dictation accuracy of more than 98%. Many users, unfortunately, fail to achieve good results largely because dictating to a computer is not the same as dictating to a human Personal Assistant.
One-to-One Instruction
Two or three half-days of one-to-one on-site training by an Dragon Certified Instructor will allow you to obtain the optimum performance from the software in the shortest possible time. More time will be needed for instruction in the use of the Dragon macro language.
An ideal solution is one or two one-to-one on-site training session and further self instruction using the VoiceTeach utility.

Self Instruction
If one-to-one on-site training is not practicable the next best alternative is the VoiceTeach utility. This integrates with both NaturallySpeaking 8 Preferred and Professional and provides over 60 Lessons many of which are interactive. A major feature is the unique voice enabled Help that allows you to call up a side-by-side list of commands appropriate to the application and activity. An ideal solution is a single one-to-one on-site training session and further self instruction using VoiceTeach.
